Let's write it out

So I’ve been working a lot with the AI stuff lately, as this is something that’s scratching a lot of itches for me, as well as my clients. I’ll probably get back to writing about what I consider the drawbacks at some point, but I’ve been wanting to get the blog fixed up so that I can write some thoughts down. I’m off Facebook, LinkedIn is shit and well, blogs are how we used to do this. So this is my attempt at it.

I used the new Claude Design to think up a blog design on some specifications that I just had in the moment. I don’t even remember what they were, but I’m pretty sure I wanted a simple design, with good support for mobile, dark mode and of course to be run as a Hugo theme.

When Claude Design had a package ready, I passed it over to Claude Code to implement it as a Hugo theme, and with a bit of back and forth to get things to work the way I wanted them to, I had a Lantern theme set up exactly how I wanted it.

So I guess vibe coding will be making me write more. I guess at least that’s a good thing.
